When will I know the assessment results?

After the assessment, candidates will receive notification about the result within 3 working days by email. Candidates can view and download the electronic version of the score report by logging into the Cambridge English Metrica assessment platform.

The Linguaskill assessment score report is printed with the candidate's full name, candidate number, date of birth and affiliation, and will clearly show the assessment results, including:

  • Cambridge English Scale score
  • Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) levels
  • Assessment results for each language skill

The “CEFR Level Descriptor” in the score report describes the candidate's expected level of Cambridge English, while the " Cambridge English Scale Score " provides detailed information about the candidate's performance, showing the candidate 's position on the CEFR scale .

A result report of a " Cambridge English Scale Score " of up to 180+, equivalent to a CEFR scale of C1 (or higher).

PRINTED SCORE REPORT

Candidates can view and download the electronic version of the score report for free via the assessment result notification email. Within 3 months after the end of the assessment period, candidates can also apply for an additional physical hard copy of the score report at a fee of HK$180 per copy (delivery fee not included).

RESULT REVIEW​

Since the entire Linguaskill evaluation adopts AI artificial intelligence and automatic scoring technology, there is no result review.

REPEAT TEST-TAKING ASSESSMENT

Candidates can apply the Linguaskill assessment an unlimited without the number of times. Candidates can make an assessment appointment at any time. Even if the candidate has taken the assessment, the score report will not show previousthe past results.
